Due to popular demand, the Happy Hour at the lounge has been split into two sessions: 5:30 - 7pm and 7:15 - 8:45pm. The service and food options are less impressive this time due to the crowds. Also a lot of people were "camping" with their laptops to secure the coverted window seats prior to the first session.

I would say it has more to do with Roa Pai Theaw Gun rather than songkran in Bangkok. Lounges have been packed all across Thailand for a while due to a combination of rates and the offer for locals.
