But if you are using the app, it displays very outdated information about miles. If you view your activity, that should display up to date information. The only way that I've ever managed to force the main page of the app to show the right number of miles is to log out and log back in again. Otherwise it will remain stale (seemingly indefinitely, certainly for days in my case)
