i booked because virgin had 50% points fare and i had expiring vouchers so i paid 90k points + fees for 3 upper return to barbados.. it was only after booking the flights i discovered that perhaps Barbados wasn't for me.

I would consider aroudn £200 a night reasonable value, its NOT worth anything close to £400.

HFPs trip was a paid for advertising campaign and even then the photos in the bathroom look grotty, and the rest of the photos there is nobody around (so they seem staged)... anywho.. my virgin flight was amazing, i found the hilton to be excellent.. but i wouldn't go back to Barbados.
