I have read the Wiki instruction on the application process and I am confused on the my next steps and wanted to make I am following the correct process or not.

Step 1 is complete with CBP

For Step 2 : I am in US location. So I have applied for Background Verification For GEP (for my Global Entry application) in "Passport Seva at Indian Embassies and Consulates" site (https://portal3.passportindia.gov.in/Online/index.html).

What is the next step. Will I need to print this application (Background Verification For GEP) and send it VFS or Visit Consulate office in Houston personally ? or will it be approved online automatically after police verification ? It has over 6 months now.
