If you are traveling with anyone 15 or younger, you are not allowed to sit in the exit row. Every time I board an AS flight with an exit row boarding pass, I am asked this question, "are you traveling with anyone under the age of 15?". I am never asked "Are you traveling with anyone under the age of 15, but have an alternative adult on board who can be solely responsible for said person?". It's a pretty clear rule. And it makes sense, if the plane has an issue, who are you going to help, your child, or a bunch of strangers?
