Yes wife was given new boarding pass that said 10F. But lady sitting in 10F also had boarding pass saying 10F.

And while this was going on some guy came up with a boarding pass that said 10D… which was my seat.

Gate agents seemed to just be reissuing passes with no regarding for duplication. I imagine the FA looked at their handheld and went off that.
