Missing elements: Japanese whiskeys, bathroom amenities have switched from Shanghai Tang to Byredo and the shampoo/conditioner/body wash are no longer individual but accessed through dispensers, lunch still not served in Sakura (but between breakfast/dinner at Sakura and the $25/adult up to $50/room food credit that can be redeemed at Estuary I don't miss lunch service at all)
Good: food is still at a very high level with added choices through the chef's hot station, breakfast is excellent (better than eating at Blue Willow downstairs)
Your experience in Sakura sounds similar to ours last September, with the note that dinner now has 5 regional menus rather than the 3 we had in September. Yes, the breakfast in Sakura was awesome!!
What is your sense of how busy the hotel and Sakura were?
Thanks for the update!
