AA gave ample warning and notice as to their mileage expiration policy. Sure, DL/UA miles never expire, but they've each had multiple major devaluations over the last couple of years. Their miles are worthless. And American provides so many earning opportunities or other activity to maintain your account as to effectively not have any expiration.
