04/21/22: LAX-IAD redeye

pre-order was an option but the only options offered were snack boxes. asked on board if there was any fresh fare and was told "Nyet".

What I got:


Anyway, I stashed the snack box as well as the tomato juice and tried to sleep. A few hours later I awoke and realized that I forgot to acquire the pre-ordered Buffalo Trace. When I reminded a FA walking the cabin, she went to the F/J prep area and delivered a poured Buffalo Trace on the rocks but in a plastic cup since I wasn't in F/J.

p.s. Took the snack box with me and it eventually became my dinner since I was so tired and decided against trying to leave my hotel room that evening. So UA fed me after all.
