My ET aisle seat is now a CE "middle seat"

Got an Expertflyer alert for a change of aircraft (I think from A319 to A320N) for a domestic connection tomorrow evening and went online to check my seat assignment. My seat (5D), which was previously in the front of the ET cabin, is now described as "middle" which doesn't make sense unless they've secretly brought back the 767s. The seat map for ET now starts with row 6. Way back in the day, if you chose a seat in the front row of economy with KLM you'd occasionally find yourself in business if they decided to move the curtain. I'm guessing that BA is less generous and will kick me out of this seat sooner or later but I'm a bit surprised it hasn't already happened. I'm curious to find out if and when it does happen although it would probably be smarter to switch to an actual ET seat before online check-in opens.
