I'm aware that there was a major problem at AMS yesterday. Nonetheless, I have a flight scheduled for Tuesday that I need to change.

I don't mind waiting on hold for a few hours - but the KLM system does not give that option, it simply says that the wait would be over 45 minutes, call back later, and then hangs up the phone.

Of course I first tried changing the reservation online but I get a message that this is not possible and gives code MS003.

I tried Twitter, but despite repeating myself a number of times even though I repeat the new flight number and date that I wanted they don't seem to understand that I want to fly back from a different city than I originally planned - essentially I want to change an open jaw to a round-trip.

So, is there any way to change my reservation - secret way of getting through, etc.?

Also, is there a way to get in the queue for an agent right away when calling? I have to go through a IVR tree each time I call in that insists on explaining to me how I can do various things online which in fact I cannot do?

It's great that they advertise the free change policy but it is somewhat meaningless if you can't reach anyone to make the change.
