I had a very frustrating past week. I finished up a long stay on April 15th, which will put me at Platinum. Up to now, the nights haven't credited and I have since had 3 separate stays where it would have been really nice to be able to have my Plat benefits, since I didn't book breakfast.

I was wondering why does it sometimes take so long to credit? Most stays show up in my account the next day, or at least within a few days, so it's really infuriating that this one, which was a really important one, takes so long. I now have to wait until tomorrow before Marriott will even bother to look into the issue. What's the logic behind the 10 day wait? In my experience, if it doesn't post within a few days, it's usually gotten lost somewhere, so it's really annoying that they can't / won't look into it sooner.
