Cancelled a fully refundable ticket for a trip in December. I got a email saying it can take up to 30 days to process the refund but in most cases within 7 business days. Why so long? Alaska does it same day....credited to my Amex next morning.
Many companies use cautious wording like that for the worst case, but actually process faster.
