I stayed there in August 2019 as it was the only Hilton in the area, and I had a newly acquired Aspire card to show off. Got an upgrade to a garden view, not that impressive, but 2 for 2 on "upgrades" that early in the trip (Hilton Auckland upgrade to relaxation suite). The room wasn't ready, so the desk agent gave me 8 drink vouchers for my 4-night stay and directed me to the bar. Instead I wandered around the grounds and neighborhood. When I came back, the room was ready, and different desk agent gave me my cookie and another 8 drink vouchers. Sadly, I'm a teetotaler, and 2 soft drinks a night is plenty. I ended up giving the extras to a couple I met on the free shuttle on my last day.
