My logic is, despite whatever special T&Cs they may have used, if it shows in the Bonvoy app you can at least link it to your status and see what happens. You don't have any rights or expectations, so if they deny you benefits then they'd be entitled to do that. However, you may get lucky and get them, potentially even points/nights on a rare occasion. Personally I would make sure my number was on the reservation and then see what happens on check-in, and treat it as luck if you get your normal Titanium welcome.
