They'll probably try to "help" you out several times along the process to get you back to the routing that makes the most sense to them, but you CAN suggest different routings. For example, we are going SGF-DUB/SNN-SGF next summer on the following routing: SGF-DFW(AA)-MEX(AA)-LHR(BA)-DUB(EI)/SNN-LHR(EI)-ORD(AA)-SGF(AA). We're ticketed now. Everybody in RES that touched the record said, "Oo, I can get you on the ORD-DUB (EI) non-stop now...". Stop-overs are another story, but even those are fairly liberal. I think you get 2 or 3. (Each way?)
