Changing planes, going thru customs in DFW
Greetings:
I will be flying from Monterrey, Mexico back home to SFO on a Tuesday. American has us booked with a connection in DFW. There is one hour for this connection.
Does this seem cutting it too close? One hour is short for a domestic connection, but coming from out of the country means waiting for luggage, going through customs, racing to the domestic terminal and going through security. Seems like a lot to do in such a short interval. We are going to a wedding, so carryone luggage is not an option.
The agent on the phone thought that should be sufficient. Has anyone done this? Can I look forward to missing the connector and waiting at DFW for hours for the next flight?
