1h30 min connection in LAX. One itinerary. Should I travel with hand-baggage only?
Hi,

Looking at the BUD-Hawaii deals, I can see a cheap fare with a 1h 30min connection in LAX. We don't have Global Entry and we're arriving from a country with no US Preclearance. Will our luggage be checked through or do we have to collect it and re-check it after passport control? If the latter - does this mean we need to get out, go through security etc and come back inside?

P.S - The LHR-LAX and LAX-HNL are operated by AA. Not sure if this will make any difference.
