I have a 12 hour transit in IST pretty soon (pretty much from 13:00 to 01:00). I understand that I am not eligible for the day suites or the free hotel (there's a shorter connection but is't not available in J booking class). Can I use the showers when I arrive (I am traveling on 2 long haul sectors) and then exit the airport using TourIstanbul?

If that's not possible, any suggestions for a 12-hour layover in IST? I've been to Istanbul city a few times and will visit again in June, so no real desire to venture out into the city for a few hours by myself.

Another point to note is that Malaysia require a negative PCR test 2 days prior to departure. I've read somewhere that some TK agent interpreted it as 2-days prior to departure from IST instead of US. If I leave airside, will I have to take another PCR test since my US test may not be valid?
