Park Hyatt Vienna
Made a points reservation, applied a TSU, and was upgraded to a Park Suite- no different room options like I sometimes get. Seems like this is just the Standard suite but it was really amazing, extremely large room with separate bedroom and living, massive bathroom, and a separate dressing area. Well worth the TSU, although I expect the base room is pretty nice also. This room looked out onto Am Hof square where there was an Easter market which was fun.
Otherwise the hotel is one of the best I've stayed at. My only nitpick is that everything seems a bit isolated- there is a lobby bar that is a bit out of the way, a cafe downstairs, and a lounge that I'm not really sure what happens there. It's not obvious how to get to the Spa/Pool. Maybe this is by design, and if you are a regular you might actually like this. The restaurant seems to be the crown jewel (breakfast buffet was amazing) and there was a steady stream of evening customers coming in from outside the hotel. The location is perfect for sightseeing or shopping.
Since prices are high, I would guess that suites are not always booked and you might get an upgrade without using a TSU. But if I go again I will gladly use a TSU just to be sure.
