I greatly enjoyed my own recent five-day stay there. The staff are very helpful & welcoming. The buffet breakfast and evening drinks (de facto dinner) for Bonv°y Platinum Elite & above at the "temporary lounge" in the 21st- (top-) floor restaurant were delicious, with splendid views.

This is a good location if one needs to be downtown near the Landbank Bldg., Santa Remedios church, Rizal Blvd. bayfront pathway, U.S. embassy, etc., rather than right across from MNL Terminal 3, where the other two Manila Bonv°y properties are located.

I will definitely visit again.
Yah the vast majority of the staffs including the GM were from Pan Pacific. And I recall that the Pan Pacific Manila had one of the best service oriented staffs in the capital.
