I'm aware of this change, but more recently they've gotten even worse. I was using Aspire up until the pandemic and even Aspire managed to give us some excellent referrals and recommendations. But the service quality started to drop in 2020 and right now it's really abysmal. So either they've changed companies again or Aspire has been cutting costs and they are clearly outsourcing some of their calls to India as multiple reports have suggested. Again, nothing against India, but the agents I spoke with were just going through lists of canned questions and didn't have any local knowledge to speak of for the European destinations I was asking about.
I've gotten great service with Aspire travel and concierge services using them through my JP Morgan Reserve Card. All the agents I have used appear to be located in the USA and have gone the extra mile.
