Also the GH isn’t “that” far of a walk to the Gas Lamp. 10-15min maybe? I haven’t done it since 2019 but when I had 200 nights in San Diego split about 50/50 between the two, it didn’t seem like a big deal.
If you're a girl, try making that walk in high heels. Or if you are a guy, try convincing your girlfriend/fiance/wife to make that walk in high heels. All of a suddenly that short 10-15 minute walk is a much bigger deal. The Andaz is right there.

I've never seen a Marriott or Hilton do a minimum night requirement on a cash stay. Andaz San Diego seems to have those every weekend. And trying to book it using points? Forget about it because the minimum stay is like 5 or 6 or 7 nights.
