During my easter flights I heard:

3 announcements «facemasks are recommended»
1 facemasks not mentioned in any announcements
0 mandatory

I wore no facemask. On 3/4 flights I was among the 2% not wearing it. On 1/4 flight I was among the 98% not wearing it. Crew did use it during the whole flight (when walking in the galley).

The number of masks on a flight seems to be very correlated with local country’s rules in closed spaces. People assume, or adapts, the local rules - in either end of the pendulum. So I expect to see less masquarillos around going forward now that more and more countries lifts, or relaxes, their indoor/transport mask mandates.
