I have a trip with my teenagers to Zurich coming up, and thinking of using AMEX FHR. I'm debating between PH Zurich, Storchen, or Widder. The last 2 are about $150/ night less, but I'm not sure they're on par with the PH. Any thoughts?
I've been to the Baur au Lac and the Widder. The Baur au Lac is right next to the PH. Both hotels are a bit out of the way. Don't know about the PH, but I wasn't entirely comfortable at the Baur au Lac. It's the type of hotel that makes you feel like a tuxedo is required.
The Widder was fun and in a better location. I'd definitely return. The restaurant was quite good.
