i would certainly avoid spending 4.5hrs there, unless i arrive early from another flight. so if you have a hotel in FRA the night before i would not get up early just to check out the FCT. i would have breakfast at the hotel, get to the FCT around 1030-1100, have a nice lunch and only eat something small on the plane. 2hrs are more than enough to "experience" everything...
