In other words, avoid A-seats for SFO-SIN and L-seats for SIN-SFO?

If so, I just changed my seats to 44L on UA 1 and 44A on UA 2. Please let me know if I got it wrong or not. I don't want to make the same mistake I made when I flew SFO-PVG a few years ago! The sun was so annoying!
