Feeling like you're almost home when you see that BA tailfin through the airport window. Hearing the accent of the crew gives me a warm feeling inside and then hearing the apologies about not having x, y or z or the delay (90% of my BA flights) Perhaps BA are just preparing me for the chaos that has become the state of play in the UK right now.
