When you get a good crew, they are still excellent. It’s a shame many of the more experienced have left as they differentiated BA from the surly/absent service on US airlines. When you don’t get these crew, BA feels just like any other airline and you can feel like “why bother” with them.
I quite like the White Company bedding.
As a GGL, I still sometimes feel valued (extra effort to return a forgotten item, rebooking missed flights, overnighting of delayed baggage, occasional upgrades).
