I’ve stayed at Carmel Valley Ranch, which is just 10 minutes from where I grew up so I know the area extremely well. It’s an expansive property with a great pool and main lodge. There is a good spa there in my experience, but it is certainly not a “spa resort”. Also, the rooms are definitely not as luxurious as other properties mentioned in this thread. Nonetheless, it could potentially be a good place for a very relaxing stay for you. Just my perspective.
