Ex-Europe TATL many of the 60K choices seem to be with TK, LO, and/or TAP. I refuse to fly TK TATL on the 777. Are LO and TAP TATL as bad as reported elsewhere? (Some of the schedules for LO and TAP would work a bit better for me.)
(Earlier today, I had a ticket booked from southeast Asia to southern South America via TPE on EVA via ORD. Then I found out that all choices, where 60K was available included the long-haul on AV. No thanks to that also! I cancelled the referenced ticket.)
I agree with your aversion to TK's 777. I had to bite the bullet and book a long IST-KUL segment on that aircraft as an alternative to a cross continental Y seat.
In regards to TAP, I flew their new(ish) A321-neo aircraft TATL a few times last fall and quite enjoyed the single throne seat. I was hesitant to fly a narrow body across the pond at first, but really I found the crew and seat comfort quite good although I slept through most of the meal services as is often my habit. I'd fly them again.
