Also, IME, the range and selection of "other" items, after your primary meal is finished, is more extansive and better than most premium airlines.
The service is very attentitive, after you get over the fact that you may be the only, or one of the few, non-Asians in first class.

As I said, it was a preliminary report put-out at the request of a few people with upcoming JL F flights. My full report, which will be included in a much, much larger report (already 54 pages and not yet half way done) will include full menu and wine list.
Re-reading my report, I guess I did not make clear that I very much enjoyed the food and considered the flight to be one my best First Class experiences. I would happily fly JL again in F in a heartbeat and will try to the next time I need to go to Japan.
As for my comment about being the only non-Asian in F, please, please don't interpret that as anything more than an observation. I had nothing to "get over" as I was not the least bit bothered or uncomfortable about the situation. If I was, traveling to Asia would not have been a great idea.
