Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?
yes!

Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?
Booked King Classic refundable advance saver rate, received King Classic Skyline view on 6th Floor. Initially received one category upgrade to King Classic MNAC view, but asked for better upgrade when checking in.

How are the rooms?
Basic, but nice. Recently refurbished. Lots of space, with a couch and desk on one side of the room. Nespresso maker, too.

How is the exec. lounge?
It's open again! It's open from 11am to 11pm with alcoholic drinks ( including Veuve Cliquot) and non alcoholic drinks plus light snacks available all day. Hot and more stubstantial appetizers are available from 3pm to 7pm.
Breakfast is in the main restaurant downstairs and there is a great buffet, so many hot and cold options plus made to order eggs. Wait staff is a little overwhelmed, it was difficult to get coffee or water at times.
Bruno, one of the Club Lounge staff members, was extremely enthusiastic and helpful!

Did you receive a welcome gift?
Extra water, a tin of chocolate covered almonds and a jar of candied nuts.

How was the minibar?
A few beers, one 350 ml bottle of white wine, juices, sodas, gin, Spanish whiskey, rum, vodka.

What was good and what was bad?

-GoodVery helpful staff, daily housekeeping without having to request it, beer and wine available in lounge all day, prefilled mini bar. Arrived at the hotel at 8am and the room was available. The breakfast buffet was amazing!
Location is about 30 minutes from the city center but there are things to see and do in the Montjuïc neighborhood, too.

-BadNot the best upgrade but technically 2 category, email communication before arriving was hit or miss.
