I hope this helps you and others: here's a copy (if I did it right) of an upcoming stay next week. I used a 35K certificate. The points rate was around 25K or so (cash rate low $200's). If you notice, it says at the bottom...Number of points - 0 (zero). (EDIT - the 0 after the taxes and fees is what I'm talking about, on my original confirmation the word "Points - 0" is indicated. If your reservation says 25,000 or 50,000 points you should know right away it was not done correctly.

I'm really shocked that Marriott is not making good on these mistakes.

Now, one thing on mine that is strange is that is a King room for FOUR ADULTS - believe me, as fun as that sounds, it is not , but I could not change/edit it no matter what I tried, so I did call the hotel to say we are only two. I do not know how it defaulted to 4, you'd have to deliberately click a few times for that to happen.

I'm now off to check some other upcoming certificate stays.

Another edit....I seem to have deleted a little too much to protect my privacy, but there was a "0 points" indicated after the taxes and fees (which I also deleted by accident). Sigh, I tried.
