I am sure this has been asked before in this forum, but I have a kind of confusing situation here. I am planning to book six RT tickets (IAD-LHR), and deciding between Economy and Basic Economy. During the process conflicting/confusing information were presented. When I clicked on the "Compare Cabin Experiences", it showed that Basic Economy allows 2 checked bags. However, when I clicked on the actual flight to move to the next step, it asked me to check Basic Economy and there it stated "Check Your First Standard Bag for Free" not available for Basic Economy; only available for Economy.

I would like to bring this question to the experts here: On the IAD-LHR flight, does Basic Economy includes checked baggage? Thank you very much!
