The new head house is for all Delta services including check-in, SkyClub and baggage claim with the first phase will open for use on 4/20. There will be additional expansion of the head house in the next phases to both likely add in D1 check-in and the D1 lounge, as well as the TBIT connector. T1/5 is just a connector, between the T1-2, where there is an additional bus to the TBIT Midfield/200 gates to the AF/KL flights, but I didn't think here was a separate security (though you could go in via T1). Am I missing something?
Will the T2 entrances close with the new headhouse - thus closing the current D1 check-in until they can expand in the new phase? I'm worried this could be a temporary downgrade, at least for me, because I always get through T2 security in basically under 5 minutes and head to the SkyClub... For my purposes (simply flying to and from LAX from NYC), Delta currently offers an extremely seamless experience
