No I only do in-store. Worked just fine on my way home a few hours later.

First time I've come across it, but if it's YMMV based on store, I stopped by a Safeway that I haven't visited in ages and have no basis for comparison.

For me, the 2030 card worked immediately, the 2029s took some time before working.
