Any data points on time slots not being honoured when not booking direct? I booked on hotels.com (much cheaper and free cancellation). After making the booking, the hotel messaged me asking for my time slot and then later confirmed. I still hope to actually enter Singapore, but booked this as a back up.

One more question. If I arrive late due to a delayed flight, will they still give me 12 hours from my actual check in time?
