Don't mean to stray too far or highjack the thread but I just booked the reverse (MSP-CDG) for late September; booked in Main for reasonable points, and then applied GUCs to get us into D1... any idea if THAT plane will changed between now and then? I know almost anything is possible but I would think for international flights that are often booked far in advance Delta would have a reasonability good expectation that will be the product in 5 months. I'm not worried about the seat quality, more about getting bumped out of D1 due to airframe change and have to try to find GUC availability in 2-3 months from now when it will be even more scarce....
