Booked two round trip Saver tickets with Alaska Air without seat selection (first time flying with them). Initially, no seats were assigned, and then I got a notification that both tickets had been assigned adjacent seats. Checked on my reservation again today and it seems the seats for the return flight were changed to be separate from one another. Any idea if they'll place the seats together if I give a call (wait time was 3 hours when I called a few moments ago so haven't been able to ask yet) or check in at the counter? Mostly just trying to sit next to my travel partner to try and reduce any COVID related risk, etc. Thanks!

I’ve been in aisle. Agent asked me to give up a seat. They moved me to a different aisle or they upgraded me because of my status.
