Staying at the Academia right now as a Titanium and have been treated quite well. Upgrade to an executive room from the base redemption. Welcome gift, anniversary gift, well appointed room, and the breakfast is quite tasty. A very local, upscale feel. Staff have been super friendly and helpful. Dinner and drinks at the Asian fusion restaurant on the roof was top notch. 6th floor room is relatively quiet from street noise. I had originally booked the NEW Hotel, and my partner is so happy I shifted our booking here instead. I've read great things about the Grand Bretagne, but this is 100% my flavor. Will make it a point to stay again the next time we come to Athens.
