Thank you very much everyone for your inputs and the warm welcome! I have the PNR but this still doesn’t register anything on my account, we are travelling with an infant and so would like to select our seats, but I’m not allowed to yet. Whilst on the phone to BA I cleared cookies and re searched for the same flights and the cost was still the aforementioned £1585 and is still that now so less than the phone line quoted cost. Seems very strange. I am more relaxed about the ticketing part of my question because it sounds like it will come through soon, but as previously mentioned I can’t yet select my seats which is a bit frustrating.
