Sorry for the embarrassingly newbie type questions but it is ages since I’ve done one of these sorts of itineraries with checked bags. Travelling LHR-PHL-MCO on BA/AA tomorrow on a single ticket. Do we still have to retrieve bags in PHL, clear customs and re-check? If so, are there AA check in desks close to where we clear customs? I haven’t been to PHL before and don’t have any idea of the terminal. The onward sector with AA is in F if that makes any difference. Obviously I’m aware that we will clear US immigration in PHL.

Lastly - it looks as if the AAdmirals Clubs in Terminal A at PHL are temporarily closed - presumably we can use the BA lounge? All three pax travelling are BAEC silver.
