Phone line ticket question

I have got loads of useful info from FT over the years, but this is my first post. I tried to book flights from LGW - UVF for next February in economy using Avios to upgrade, availability was very limited. I tried to do this all online and use two eVouchers I have from 2020. When I tried to use it, it said it was either invalid or unable to be used for the booking. I then tried without the Avios upgrade option and the same things happened. So I had to call to book, once I was through the cost of the flights quoted to me by the agent was higher than what I was seeing on the website £1585 - web £1641- phone. I challenged her and she said I was wrong, the value of the voucher is much higher than the £60~ difference. But it doesn’t seem that fair that I couldn’t book the lower price and use the voucher online and had to go for the higher price on the phone. Is there a way to challenge this? Also I have had no email confirmation through for the booking, I have a reservation number, the agent said it would be 7-10 days! Is this normal? I’ve booked on the phone before, using Avios and cash and companion vouchers and never had to wait for 7-10 day confirmation. Any help or advice greatly appreciated. There are a few questions here, so didn’t know where else to ask! Thanks
