I can say though that one of the reasons that I did not bother to even upgrade to F on LH several times is that when I was actively flying LH upfront, the A340 product was so poor that it wasn't worth it, and I pitied people who paid for it. SO they finally refurbished the F cabins a decade late, and then mothballed the entire remaining fleet, and have 4-5 flying...great. Most/many airlines did away with the 346 years ago.
