Is it generally risky to immediately cancel (and convert to travel funds) the Southwest flights purchased with Amex before waiting for the Amex refund to process? Made numerous bookings today using several different Amex cards (Plat & Aspire) and am trying to book actual itenarary that is perfect for us but am concerned that after waiting few days for Amex refund to be issued by then my desired booking price jacks up!
