I booked premium economy to Europe this morning. I did an internet search to see what the current service was like and ran across an April 8, 2022, article discussing premium economy cutbacks at United, It seems the food as the same as regular economy and drinks are beer and wine.
I flew IAD-ACC in Premium Plus last week. The dinner service was the same meal as Polaris, with only 2 of the 3 options (chicken or pasta).
Drinks were indeed disappointingly only beer or wine. No separate drink service other than with dinner.
