I managed to book my 10th J OW points RTW for June/July this year. Very luckily I got the dates and routes I wanted. You really need to book 11 months out as soon as seats open and even then you need to check 10 times a day-at least!. Occasionally closer to the date you want to fly seats can and do open up. That said in today's post covid recovery climate, mohameds comment makes lots of sense.
