Submitted on Sunday morning and approval email received Tuesday. It was showing immediately in my account.

Now I have to do one flight over the next four months to get a year's status (we're flying BKK-LGW next week) and accrue 15k points in the first year to get a second year.

I've already qualified for Cathay Gold until December 2023 and will ensure I meet Miles & Smiles requirements for the additional year to April 2024 meaning I now have decent elite status across two alliances just as I am able to travel again. Happy days.
Interesting that they matched OWS as previously it's been OWE only.
