Kroger BHN cards issued by US Bank have had issues with fraud lately…MUST change pin before use….and many have been inactivated by US Bank before purchase due to fraudulent activity.
BHN or InComm cards can be used at Kroger also for MO with no issues….depending on what part of US you are in. Some areas with Kroger have stopped accepting GC for MO.
Also…in future don’t buy MC for Walmart MO. Too much hassle with their POS machines with MC. Buy ONLY VGC as they are easy peasey to use at Walmart.
My advice to a newbie is to only buy InComm Vanilla cards at CVS or Albertsons/Vons/Safeway or any other chain except Kroger chains. Kroger only sells BHN cards issued by US Bank. InComm only has Vanillas issued by MetaBank and Sutton Bank. Will be cheaper with MO fees also as InComm cards can swipe for full $500 at Walmart….as the BHN US Bank cards can also after changing pin. Avoid the pin change step for BHN US Bank by buying InComm cards only.
CVS has a $2k daily purchase limit every 24 hrs. Not sure about purchase limits at grocery chains that sell InComm cards.
Hope I helped you understand the ins and outs. GOOD LUCK!
Thanks for the detailed information!! I'm in middle of nowhere, so fingers crossed (for both W and K).
